Who we are

Led by our Strategic Director, Deborah, our team is committed to providing comprehensive support and guidance for neurodivergent individuals and the people who support, educate and employ them.

Our Founder and Strategic Director, Deborah, has 20 years of experience working in education. She is a qualified teacher and has taught across the Early Years, Primary and Secondary age ranges, in both state and independent schools.

Deborah has worked as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in two Primary schools. She has run a successful private practice as a Specialist Assessor and Tutor for young people with specific learning difficulties in literacy - Dyslexia - which included work with young adults in Further Education.

Recently having worked as a Specialist Advisory Teacher in a Local Authority on the south coast of England, Deborah has also worked in two thriving alternative provisions, as a Specialist Teacher, Case Lead and Staff Trainer.

Deborah is IPSEA Level 3 trained in SEND Law.

Academic qualifications and memberships of professional bodies:

  • Professional Member of the British Dyslexia Association

  • Holder of an Assessment Practicing Certificate with PATOSS

  • Masters Degree in Inclusive Education

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status)

  • National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (PG Cert. NASENCo)

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Language, Literacies and Dyslexia, which allows her to hold AMBDA status (Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association).

  • BA Hons Degree (First Class)

Deborah also works as an independent researcher with a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals who find the school system incompatible with their needs to develop interest in STEM subjects.
